Giorgio attended Commercial Technical Institute, where he excelled in Accounting and Commerce. He has strengthened his specialization with certificates in International Business & Finance Management and Strategic Coal Procurement.
Career
Giorgio commenced his professional journey at Italcementi Group in 2000 where he worked for 16 years, holding several roles for internal group companies such as Italcementi SPA (Sales and Marketing Dept./Italy), GACEM Ltd (The Gambia) as General Manager, Interbulk Trading as Area Manager for South-East Asia & Far East (Thailand) and as General Manager for Arabian Gulf, Asia & Pacific Area in UAE. In 2016 he joined Heidelberg Materials as Senior Trade Manager in HM Trading Dubai office. In 2017, he relocated to Singapore Office, where in early 2023 he was promoted to General Director of Trading APAC.
