Willem holds a degree in Nautical Science from Rotterdam Nautical College. He speaks English, Danish, Dutch, and German.
Career
With over 25 years of global shipping experience, Willem most recently served as the Head of Chartering & Marine Operations at Midstar Shipping in Dubai, with a strong background in leadership roles across diverse regions, including Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and the Far East. Since October 2023, he has been serving as the Shipping Director at HM Trading, based in Dubai.
