Jr. IT Specialist
HM Trading is the international trading arm of the Heidelberg Materials Group, handling overseas dry-bulk products exports and imports. We are looking for our Istanbul office as a highly-talented individual as a Jr. IT Specialist.
Requirements:
- Language skills: fluent in Turkish, Minimum B1 level of English.
- Minimum 1 or 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Problem solving/analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, handling multiple sites,
- Ability to prioritize and willingness to work self-sufficiently and well organized.
- Team player and supportive personality
- Basic JDE user knowledge is a must, good knowledge is highly preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st level technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices, and other tech tools and products.
- First-level technical support - calls/tickets/user interaction.
- Provide prompt responses to IT-related questions from end-users.
- Reliable documentation of all end-user interactions in the customer ticket system (e.g., incidents, requests)
- Create, maintain, and utilize knowledge articles.
- Provide IT onboarding trainings to new starters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of computer technology (Windows Operating Systems, Office365, Hardware, Client PC, Notebook, Printer, Network and Server)
- Providing on-site and remote support when necessary for our remote locations.
- Keeps track of company IT inventories
- Basic knowledge in Networking, TCP\IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN.
- Familiar with Active Directory, File Server, and Print Server architectures.
- User Experience in the management of ERP systems. SAP, JDE JD Edwards.
